Shilo Sanders Draft Stock Takes Hit After Struggles Versus K-State
Known for his hard-hitting style, Shilo Sanders has been criticized for...
Lil Wayne aka Weezy F. Baby recently did a sit down interview with Nightline in which he was asked about the Black Lives Matter movement. Before I get into this, let’s take a look at his response.

So what happened here?
Wayne didn’t misspeak. He is a young rich man. White people love him. Does that mean that black lives have always mattered?
Yes and no.
See, Wayne’s too detached from the everyday struggle of black people to really know what’s going on. He’s been rich since he was 15 years old. He’s had access to more women, drugs, cash, cars, etc. etc. than you or I could ever imagine. To HIM his life really matters because he’s always got the best of what life has to offer.
I don’t think there is any way you can tell a kid from Magnolia Projects who found a way to make millions of dollars that America doesn’t favor black people. Even though it is painfully obvious that socially black people still suffer some of the worst ills en masse, we have a few outliers like Wayne that will never grasp the concept due to the degree of their success.
So do ‘Black Lives Matter?’ If you’re a multi millionaire then of course you believe that they do.
Sadly all of us don’t share that experience Weezy. It must be nice.
