It seems like America is still more outraged in Colin Kaepernick’s protest than the actual issue he’s protesting. For those who don’t understand, Kaep is protesting the unpunished killing of minorities by rouge police officers.
Kaepernick’s protest has spread across the league, but until now I only know of Kaepernick and Denver’s Brandon Marshall as players who are actually putting money behind their actions. (No idea how Marshall got persuaded to donate to the veterans, but that is a different issue for a different post.)
For 10 straight months Kaepernick will donate $100,000 to a charity that aligns with his cause:
