Giants Scouts Reportedly Eyeing Shedeur Sanders as Future QB1
The buzz around Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders continues to grow, and...
Alabama RB Derrick Henry’s services were used early and often by Alabama this year. Henry amassed a whopping 339 carries this year including a gut-wrenching 46 carries in the Iron Bowl (Auburn.) Everyone nominated definitely had a case but if Henry got jobbed it would have been a tragedy:
Henry beat out Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson and Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey as finalists for the award with 1,832 points. McCaffrey was the Heisman runner-up with 1,539, followed by Watson with 1,165. There are 870 Heisman voters divided into six regions. Henry won five of those regions. The Far West region was won by McCaffrey.

Christian McCaffrey logged 319 carries for 1847 yards to Henry’s 339/1986. Basically Henry’s usage amounted to playing an entire extra game. Wow.
Well deserved Heisman.
