Jerry Jones Don’t Care: Cowboys Sign La’el Collins

The Dallas Cowboys have come to an agreement with free agent OL La’el Collins of LSU. To the shock of the NFL once again Jerry Jones lands a super talented prospect with personal issues off the field.

Collins went un-drafted after his name was included in the investigation of the shooting death of his ex-girlfriend. Though he has voluntarily spoken with investigators his name has NOT been cleared yet.

That didn’t stop the Cowboys from swooping in to make an offer, and La’el accepted it.

#Cowboys considered drafting an OL in 1st rd to play guard, then take over for Doug Free in a year or 2. They got La’El Collins for it now

No one is judging La’el because it could be a simple case of wrong place, wrong time but you have to look at the Cowboys a bit differently now. In ONE off-season they added Greg Hardy (domestic violence issues), Randy Gregory (marijuana issues), and now Collins.

It will be INTERESTING to see if Dallas remains “America’s” Team….
