The Orlando Magic’s General Manager Rob Hennigan has a lot of rebuilding to do. The team lost Dwight Howard last year, and ended up in the very bottom of the league. This Magic team could use an infusion of talent, particularly in the back-court but Hennigan is on record saying that if given the chance he still would not pass up on the #1 rated player in 2013, Nerlens Noel.
Rob Hennigan has been risk-averse when it comes to acquiring players with injury histories, but according to a source with direct knowledge, Hennigan wouldn’t be afraid to select Nerlens Noel with the Orlando Magic’s lottery pick.
The Magic finished with the NBA’s worst record (20-62) and are guaranteed one of the top four picks — with a 25 percent chance of receiving the No. 1 pick.
Noel is still recovering from a torn ACL in his left knee suffered on Feb. 12.
