Spotlight: Gregory White of Toulouse Olympique (France Rugby League)

So I got the opportunity to check out a sport that we don’t talk about at all here on MDHQ, Rugby. Rugby is pretty cool if you ask me. I used to play a little Rugby back in the day with my friends. It is very similar to football except for running plays out of a huddle when the action is reset you scrum for the ball with the other team and continue that way.

I sat down to check out some highlights of French Rugby League 2011 squad player, Greg White and I was pretty impressed. For those that don’t know he is a player for Toulouse Olympique, a French rugby team. They played for the 2011 championship. Gregory has a good knack for making the first guy miss and fighting after initial contact. You can check that out in the video below.

In the opening friendly, Gregory’s team played against Catalan Dragons. He currently plays in the French Elite 1 competition in France.
