[VIDEO] Chris Broussard and Shannon Sharpe HEATED DEBATE on Colorism and Steph Curry

Chris Broussard and Shannon Sharpe discussed the comments made by Matt Barnes a few days ago on why Steph Curry doesn’t get the credit he deserves. Barnes claimed that Curry isn’t given all his due respect to a certain degree because he’s light skin.

Broussard and Sharpe took the narrative onto Undisputed to unpack and discuss the topic further.

Personally, I think people don’t like Steph because he’s the “All American” rich kid. Shannon makes this point in the video which I think is more of the center of the hate for Steph than his actual skin color. If you don’t think the hate isn’t waiting for Zaire Wade, Bronny James, etc. then you have another thing coming. People in general respect someone who they perceive had a grind to the top than someone who’s perceived as having a hand up by having a father who played in the league.

It’s a good conversation and worth a listen.
