ESPN Senior NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski has announced that he will become the new general manager of the men’s basketball program at St. Bonaventure University. Wojnarowski, a proud alumnus of the school, shared the news with ESPN, marking a significant career shift from his role as one of the most respected journalists in sports to an active leadership position within collegiate basketball.

Wojnarowski graduated from St. Bonaventure in 1991 and has maintained a strong connection with the program, particularly in recent years, where he has been involved in fundraising efforts for the school’s collective. His deep ties to the university and his passion for its basketball program made this an ideal next step in his career.

“It is a thrill of a lifetime to be able to return to a university and community that I love in a role of service to our student-athletes, coaches, and institution,” Wojnarowski told ESPN. “I am hopeful that I can bring value in a lot of areas to our basketball program and open doors for our young men’s futures in ways both professionally and personally.”

As a distinguished alumnus from St. Bonaventure’s Jandoli School of Communication, Wojnarowski has long been regarded as a key figure in the university’s community. His experience and connections in the NBA will undoubtedly be assets to the basketball program, helping to elevate both its profile and the opportunities available to its athletes.
