The buzz around Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders continues to grow, and...
Who is going to your favorite team in the 2022 NFL Draft? Check below for our full, updated 2022 NFL mock draft! We are doing this one a little different so let me know what you think about it.
At the #1 spot we are going with Spencer Rattler of Oklahoma going to the Detroit Lions to backup and eventually unseat Jared Goff.
For the rest of our mock see the picks below:
***UPADTED April 7 2022***
1. Jacksonville Jaguars – Aidan Hutchinson, DE, Michigan
I think Kayvon is going to be the better NFL player, but Hutchinson put the better tape on film in 2022. He will be compared favorably to a Bosa brother with his power.
2. Detroit Lions – Kayvon Thibodeaux, DE, Oregon
People think this will be a quarterback but no, I think the Lions turned the corner at the end of the season as they were only losing games by one possession. If the defense can get just one or two extra stops a game those turn into wins, hence why I have them going Kayvon.
3. Houston Texans – Malik Willis, QB Liberty
Davis Mills is an interesting prospect but someone is going to trade all the way up for Malik. Yeah we know you’re going to do it Tomlin.
4. New York Jets – Travon Walker, DE, Georgia
The Jets are a fun young team but they can use bodies in the trenches. Walker can become an elite part of their line.
5. New York Giants – Evan Neal, OT/G, Alabama
Yes the Giants need to find a quarterback but I think that happens next year. As usual with bad teams they will blame the line and other skill players before admitting the problem.
6. Carolina Panthers – Kenny Pickett QB, Pitt
The Panthers’ ownership has ties to Pittsburgh and Pickett is going to be HYPED beyond belief once the fake slide loops on ESPN draft shows. Perfect storm for a reach.
7. New York Giants (from CHI) – Ikem Ekwonu, OT, N.C. State
See pick 5. There has to be someone blamed that isn’t Daniel Jones.
8. Atlanta Falcons – Drake London, WR, USC
Calvin Ridley bet on the game, Calvin Ridley is suspended. Understand?
9. Seattle Seahawks (from DEN) – Derek Stingley, CB, LSU
The Seahawks can’t get a QB here so they look towards another need.
10. New York Jets (from SEA) – David Ojabo, DE, Michigan
The Jets continue to load the trenches with great talent.
11. Washington Commanders – Kyle Hamilton, S, Notre Dame
Commander Hamilton has arrived. Landon Collins will likely be a full time linebacker now.
12. Minnesota Vikings – Jordan Davis, DT, Georgia
Kirk Cousins isn’t traded as of this draft, so the Vikes go for the trenches.
13. Houston Texans (from CLE) – Charles Cross, OT, Mississippi State
In this scenario Malik goes to Houston and they draft a young OT to take over for Laremy Tunsil who will likely be traded soon as the cap hit is manageable.
14. Baltimore Ravens – Tyler Linderbaum, C, Iowa
Speaking of teams that need to secure the trenches, the Ravens are looking for interior linemen.
15. Philadelphia Eagles (from MIA) – Ahmad Gardner, CB, Cincinnati
The Eagles need talent especially in a very winnable division.
16. Philadelphia Eagles (from IND) – Trent McDuffie, CB, Washington
Therefore I have them double dipping on corners because the other QBs in this division are going to throw bad passes.
