Here’s How The Lox Beat Dipset In Their Verzuz Battle

Last night Verzuz had one of its more monumental battles on the platform when they hosted a legendary battle between The Lox and Dipset. The battle had everything from lyrical displays, to comedy, to straight up dysfunction that was overall one of the most entertaining Verzuz’ ever.

We all know what the outcome at this point. The Lox beat Dipset clearly no matter how you score the event. But how?

How did The Lox so easily beat the most swagged out group of the early 2000s?

1. The Lox Were Ready

Jadakiss, Styles and Sheek were clearly prepared for the event. From the song selection, to the ability to perform with no background vocals, the performance was
flawless.

2. The Lox Flexed Their Lyrical Prowess

Instead of going track for track with Dipset’s swag, the Lox set the tone. They freestyled, performed mixtape tracks, and rapped flawlessly to new blends of the classics. Dipset stood no chance with their unorganized set.

3. Jadakiss Was MVP

J-a-d-a was M-V-P for The Lox. From his talk in between the sets, to leading into medleys, freestyling, and straight up calling out Dipset’s mistakes he was on his game last night. Jada proved he just may be top 5 DOA.
