NFL Decides If Deshaun Watson Will Be Suspended or Not For 2021

Everyone knows by now that Texans QB Deshaun Watson is in trouble for reasons I will not name here, but today he had some good news. The NFL has reviewed everything going on off the field and has decided that Watson is cleared to play for any club in the 2021-2022 NFL season.

Here are the details:

The NFL’s review of the serious allegations against Deshaun Watson remains ongoing and active. We are working cooperatively with the Houston Police Department and ensuring that the NFL’s inquiry does not interfere with their investigation.

As we continue to gather additional information and monitor law enforcement developments, we will make appropriate decisions consistent with the Collective Bargaining Agreement and the Personal Conduct Policy.

At this time, there are no restrictions on Watson’s participation in club activities

There are rumors that the Eagles are the favorites to make a big push to trade for Watson so we’ll see if that happens.
