The Carolina Panthers just completed a trade in which they will receive former NY Jets QB Sam Darnold in exchange for a 2nd round pick, a 4th round pick, and their 6th round pick next year. It seems like the Jets are ready to hit the reset button on this franchise after just three seasons with Darnold.
Darnold will go to Carolina where he is slated to start in front of Teddy Bridgewater. The Jets will draft Zach Wilson from BYU and both franchises will move forward with a young signal caller who hopefully can become that franchise player.
