Giants Scouts Reportedly Eyeing Shedeur Sanders as Future QB1
The buzz around Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders continues to grow, and...
Here we go with the NBA twitter daily update. In today’s news, we have Philadelphia sports radio personalities reporting a fun rumor: new head coach is looking to trade Ben Simmons from the 76ers for the #1 overall pick and Lamelo Ball.
I am not sure how this works salary wise as the Wolves already have D’Angelo Russell and Karl Anthony Towns under nice contracts but NBA teams always seem to find cap space to make room.
If the Wolves say yes the 76ers should pack Ben’s bags before they get off the phone. Not only does the move get rid of one of your roster problems (what to do with a 7′ quasi point guard who won’t shoot threes with Embiid on the floor) but it also clears a ton of cap space to fix the bench.
I wouldn’t get too happy 76ers fans. We all know no matter what Doc is going to blow another 3-1 lead.
Details below:
Doc Rivers is going to try an trade Ben Simmons to Minnesota for the number 1 pick and take Lamelo Ball in Philly. Good chess move Doc. #TalkSoon pic.twitter.com/G68zZJCCT8

Run it back Minnesota. They’ve done this before. Ben needs teammates that are compatible to his play style. D-Lo is an All Star caliber guard that can make shots. KAT is the best shooting big in the NBA. Pull the trigger Minny. #TalkSoon pic.twitter.com/enRN3PDQ2M

Philly hasn’t had a box office attraction at the PG poison since Iverson. LaMelo brings the fan appeal. It’s a win win for both teams. It’s worth the chance. The Embiid and Ben experiment has ran its course in Philly. #Yoda pic.twitter.com/2b89qjmBsK
