Washington to Keep Name “Washington Football Team?”

The Football Team is 1-0, and with the new era beginning things may just stay for good. That’s right, team owner Dan Snyder has said recently that he is open to keeping the temporary name as the team’s permanent moniker going forward.

Here is what he had to say on it:

“If the Washington Football Team name catches on and our fans embrace it then we would be happy to have it as our permanent name,” Snyder said last week in an email to the Wall Street Journal.

We may just have to see the Washington Football Team for many years going forward. It kind of has a ring to it.
