Ty Lawson Apologizes to China After Saying Chinese Women Have the Cakes

Ty Lawson made a mistake over in China last week when he Instagrammed himself in the club having a good time with a young lady. He captioned the picture “Chinese women have them cakes” which the Chinese officials in the CBA didn’t like.

So what was his punishment? Ty was banned for life from the league. It’s a harsh punishment but China is a stricter society and rules are rules. He wasn’t in Miami 305, he was in China and like the old saying goes, “remember where you are at.”

Truthfully a Chinese player would have been in trouble if they did the same thing but you know the internet had to make it a race issue. Here is how Ty responded and apologized on Instagram:
