Here’s Why Leonard Fournette Signed With Bucs

Are the Bucs a new super team? Well quite possibly after Leonard Fournette joined the squad. All 32 teams failed to pick him up from waivers for $4M salary so Leonard was clear to choose whatever team he wanted to join as a free agent.

The Bucs already have Shady McCoy but you can never have enough talent when forming a super team. Now we all know super teams typically don’t work out but it will be fun to see.

Fournette, the 25-year-old former Jaguars star, was released by Jacksonville on Monday, just two weeks before the beginning of the season, culminating a turbulent three-year stint with the franchise.

His deal with the Buccaneers is worth $2 million, and there are incentives that can boost it to $3.4 million, according to NFL Network.
