Liangelo Ball Turns Down Overseas Offer to Help Lamelo’s Draft Stock

The Ball brothers are out the media for the most part, but quiet as kept Lamelo Ball has put together a top three draft stock playing overseas this season. The team recently offered his older brother Liangelo a chance to join the team but he declined for good reason. He doesn’t want it to turn into another Lithuania situation and hurt little brother’s draft stock.

Good move by Liangelo. His path to the NBA was always going to be unique so it’s nice that he recognizes the moment at stake for his brother. Gelo will probably have to roll through the G-League for a few seasons before he gets his opportunity, so it’s only right that he stays out the way of his brother’s draft stock.
