The truth of the matter is that every man has a price. And Mark Davis of the Las Vegas Raiders knows this. The Raiders are looking to move into a brand new stadium and Jon Gruden wants to move on from Derek Carr expeditiously so this makes some sense.
The Raiders will be willing to pay $60 million for two years of Tom Brady while they sell PSLs and find the heir apparent. In a market like Vegas the money is a non factor. Tom Brady is bringing that much value to the franchise if not more if he did indeed sign.
At the very least it’s a good starting point for Bob Kraft and the Patriots to start negotiations:
