Giants Scouts Reportedly Eyeing Shedeur Sanders as Future QB1
The buzz around Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders continues to grow, and...
Is there going to be a NFL General Manager that mortgages his future on Tua Tagovailoa after the horrific hip injury? We’ll have to see, but from the outside looking in I will have to say yes and no. Let me explain that.
Yes, someone will take Tua Tagovailoa in the 2020 draft. That is a pure fact. It only takes one team. We saw that when Josh McDaniels talked himself into Tim Tebow in 2010 when no one else was going to select Tim with a first rounder. Someone will take Tua with a top 50 pick in 2020. That is not a question.
The real question is can Tua Tagovailoa come back after losing even more of his mobility? Tua had an ankle injury last year and was noticeably hobbled this season. Now he will have a surgically placed hip going forward and no one knows how it will heal. Modern medicine is a miracle but everyone’s body is different.
We are wishing Tua a speedy recovery over here. I think someone will draft him but we probably won’t see him play until 2021 at the earliest.
