We all knew AB wasn’t going to retire over a helmet. He’s got $30 million on the table, in his athletic prime, and finally got away from the quarterback that was driving him crazy last year. There are just too many reasons for AB to at least give the Raiders a chance in 2019.
So, the NFL banned the Schutt helmets that are over 10 years old and players like AB, Tom Brady, and Aaron Rodgers all have to buy new helmets for the 2019 season. The only problem is AB wasn’t trying to go and made it public in AB fashion.
After a few days of meetings and arbitration Antonio Brown announced today that he is moving forward with his career though he doesn’t like the decision.
