oh god get over it, we need less numbers retired, not more. IF you are going to do it, should be reserved for the VERY BEST players in a franchise’s history. not pretty good players. in fact, maybe have a max of 3 retired numbers. wanna retire a number? gotta kick someone out of that top 3. i mostly hate retiring numbers. different sport but, the celtics basically have no numbers left & have retired some pretty average players’ numbers.
