6. Cardinals: Jonah Williams OT Alabama

The Cardinals went and drafted Josh Rosen and the best way to help a young QB out is by supplying him with a good defense and an investment in the offensive line. The O line hasn’t been good for the Cardinals for a while now and Williams is a very good piece to build around. I don’t quite think Williams is as strong of a player as Greg Little, but he’s definitely not lacking in strength. He’s more of a technician especially in the run game. He’s got strong hands and a heavy frame, but it doesn’t seem to impact his abilities much if at all. He will have a lot of experience coming into the league and having been in the SEC he will be highly sought after. There is a decent gap between him and Little, but this is still a top 10 player in my eyes.

7. Cowboys: Raekwon Davis DT Alabama

The Cowboys have some trouble at DT. While I think Dallas will be okay with DE with Lawrence, Taco, and Armstrong, the DT position is lacking. Collins can’t really stay healthy right now and Irving is a guy you simply can’t rely on. So they get Davis who is about 6’6″ 310 lbs. with good athletic ability. He’s an excellent pass rusher, who needs to improve on run defense. He is very raw, but with insane potential. If Dallas is drafting this high chances are they may be going QB, but I don’t really have a QB outside of Grier in the top 10.

8. Bengals: David Edwards OT Wisconsin

Edwards if he would have come out would have been a 1st rounder. He plays for Wisconsin which is an offensive line factory. He’s a RT for them, but isn’t lacking in terms of pass blocking. With defenses currently playing their best pass rushers on that left side, right tackle has become so much more important.

9. Ravens: Greedy Williams CB LSU

This is the best CB in the draft by far. He’s tall at about 6’1″ with great speed for the position. He knows how to force turnovers, and is like glue when in man coverage. I do think he needs to get a bit stronger and put on a bit more weight, but this is a guy you can build a secondary around. If there is one area I can criticize him for it’s his tackling. Yeah I know CB are normally not great at tackling, but when you are his size, and going in the top 10, you better learn. The Ravens have a lot of holes, and I think CB is getting worse and worse. I say pass rush is a bigger priority, but I don’t really have a lot of edge rushers going in the top 10.

10. Jaguars: Will Grier QB West Virginia

Grier is an excellent prospect. Outside of his thin frame, he has everything you want in a QB, about 6’4″, strong arm, and good decision maker. Don’t let the offense he plays in fool you, but he can read the field and make every throw. He has good pocket prescence and has a quick release. He does need to work on his down the field accuracy. The power is there, but it can sometimes come out a little flat or puts too much air on it. He did get in trouble for PEDs, so that’s a concern, but as a prospect he’s great. I personally have him over guys like Patterson and Lock who are projected to go before him. The Jags have so much going for them, that QB is literally the only thing holding them back. I do not expect them to draft this high though.
