16. Bills: Tremaine Edmunds OLB Virginia Tech

The Bills lost several LB in FA, and they trade up to take the 2nd best LB in the draft. Edmunds is a physical freak and can play any LB spot in any scheme. He has some pass rush, but is a force as a run stopper. He is raw, so he may not have a great impact as a rookie, but this is a good pick and great value. Grade: A

17. Chargers: Derwin James S FSU

18. Packers: Jaire Alexander CB Louisville

The Packers get in my opinion the second best CB in the draft. Jaire isn’t prototypical size, but he is pretty fast. Grade: B+

19. Cowboys: Leighton Vander Esch Boise State

Leighton Vander Esch Boise The Cowboys needed LB and overdraft Leigton. He isn’t a bad player, but only one year of college production and has issues shedding blocks. Grade C+

20. Lions: Frank Ragnow C Arkansas

This is a bit early for Ragnow, I have Daniels higher, and I think he’s not a first rounder. He’s a tough player, who will blocks his butt off, but has some issues with letting defenders into his body creating issues. Grade: C

21. Bengals: Billy Price OG Ohio St

I like Price, but I would rather have taken Daniels here. he’s a good player, but had a serious issue with his shoulder which is a death sentence for most linemen. Grade: C+

22. Titans: Rashaan Evans OLB Alabama

I think Landry would have been a better pick, but the Titans do need a captain for their defense. Evans is a physical LB that flies around the field. He’s a bit uncontrolled, and doesn’t do much in pass defense, but can blitz and defends the run well. Grade: B

23. Patriots: Isaiah Wynn OG Georgia

The Patriots needed help along the offensive line. They lost some talent there, and if they are going to let Brady play for a few more years, then Wynn was a must pick. Wynn in my opinion can play 5 spots on the line. He may not be a full time starter at LT, but is great on the interior. He’s best as a zone blocker. Grade: A
