8. Redskins: Deatrich Wise Jr. DE Arkansas

Rd. 6, Pick 202. The Redskins select DE/OLB Deatrich Wise Jr. 6-5, 274 lbs. Wise is the classic tweener but I see him adding weight to play 34DE. Wise can be effective as a pass rusher and is adequate in running downs though he might start his NFL career as a pass rush specialist.

9. Redskins: Xavier Woods S Louisiana Tech

Rd. 6, Pick 210. The Redskins select S Xavier Woods 5-11,197 lbs. Woods reminds me of Kyshoen Jarrett. Woods can play all the secondary positions and excels on special teams both as a returner or a gunner. Hard hitting and solid in coverage.

10. Redskins: Ben Gedeon ILB Michigan

Rd. 7, Pick 221. The Redskins select ILB Ben Gedeon 6-2, 244 lbs. Gedeon played well his senior season and earned a spot at the Senior Bowl where he drew plenty of interest from NFL scouts. He followed the Senior Bowl with a solid NFL Combine. He should be able to compete for playing time as a rookie and he has the potential to be a special teams stand out.

11. Redskins: Joey Ivie DT Florida

Rd. 7, Pick 236. The Redskins select Joey Ivie 6-3, 300 lbs. The coaches will love his work ethic, hard working, blue collar guy that gives max effort on every play, good pass rush skills, strong bull rush, heavy club move. Wins leverage battles, can shed blockers to make tackles. Works well in a rotation.
