Shilo Sanders Draft Stock Takes Hit After Struggles Versus K-State
Known for his hard-hitting style, Shilo Sanders has been criticized for...
16. Ravens: Dalvin Cook RB FSU
Boy, if Dalvin Cook is still available for the Ravens, you bet Harbaugh will being sprinting to the podium to make the selection. With no true #1 running back, the Ravens would be ecstatic to add an all around player of Cook’s talents.
17. Redskins: Taco Charlton DE Michigan
I never really watched Michigan football until I saw their bowl game against FSU. But, in the limited game tape I did get to see, I saw why Charlton is considered a top DE prospect. He was getting consistent penetration in the backfield, something that Washington sorely lacks.
18. Titans: Derek Barnett DE Tennessee
Barnett at this point in the first round would be a quality pick for the Titans. Barnett lacks the athleticism that other prospects in this class already have, but his game tape says otherwise.
19. Buccaneers: Jabrill Peppers S Michigan
Peppers is a very tough player to project, I’ve seen him go in mock drafts as high as to the Bears at #3 to as low as the bottom of the second round. But, at this point in the first round, I think the Buccaneers wouldn’t mind taking a chance on Peppers’ athleticism.
20. Broncos: Ryan Ramczyk OT Wisconsin
The offensive line for the Broncos is something that needs to be considered here in the first round. Ramczyk would be a nice pick here for the Broncos.
21. Lions: DeMarcus Walker DE Florida State
Ansah looks to be the future for the Lions defense, but other than him there aren’t any solid D Line players for Detroit. Walker really shined in the orange bowl and would add another piece to the Lion’s defense.
22. Dolphins: O.J. Howard TE Alabama
The Dolphins really need another offensive weapon. Howard is the best tight end in the class, and would give them an over the middle threat.
23. Giants: David Njoku TE Miami
David Njoku- Larry Donnell isn’t exactly getting it done for the Giant’s offense. But I think that’s in part to the QB play of Eli Manning. If the Giants had a top offense, they probably would be winning the Super Bowl. But since they don’t have a good offense, Njoku would be a step in the right direction.
24. Raiders: Cam Robinson OT Alabama
I feel really bad for the Raiders, they had a great team but injuries knocked them out early in the playoffs. I think Cam Robinson would be a nice pick to help protect Derek Carr.
25. Texans: Malik McDowell DT Michigan State
Wilfork is a player that the texans need to replace, and while offense is a glaring need I think McDowell is the right call here.
26. Seahawks: Forrest Lamp OT Western Kentucky
Forest Lamp really helped himself out recently with his play in the Senior Bowl. Luckily for him, teams like Seattle don’t have a good offensive line.
27. Chiefs: Sidney Jones CB Washington
Adding another corner to go with Peters is a must going forward. And why not go back to the mine where they found Marcus Peters, another defensive back from Washington.
28. Cowboys: Marlon Humphrey CB Alabama
After seeing what Aaron Rodgers was able to do to this defense, I think corner is a position in need of upgrading. Humphrey has played well in sperts. But his play has been questionable at times. But I think a team like Dallas could correct that.
29. Packers: Christian McCaffrey RB Stanford
The Packers just got absolutely torn up by Matty Ice and the Falcons. While CB depth is a glaring need, so is getting a true RB. I think with the depth of this class, the Packers can afford to wait a round on a corner. McCaffrey has flashed some great ability with his vision, and he could also help the Packers on special teams, so this would be a solid option for the Packers
30. Steelers: Tim Williams OLB Alabama
Bud Dupree finally came into his own during the Steelers’ winning streak to close the season. I think that finding a heir to groom under Harrison would be a smart move if someone like Williams is still on the board.
31. Falcons: Chris Wormley DT Michigan
Grady Jarrett really evolved into a qualtiy pass rusher for the Falcons. But other than that, the Falcons don’t have another young DT moving forward. Wormley is a solid player and would give the Falcons another nice player for their improving defense.
32. Patriots: D’Onta Foreman RB Texas
RB is the only position that really stands out at me when I look at the Partiots, with Dion Lewis who cant stay on the field, and a couple od backs who I wouldn’t consider every down backs. Foreman played really well last year for the longhorns, and would be a nice otion for Tom Brady’s offense.
