2017 NFL Mock Draft: Picks 17-32

16. Lions: Mike Williams WR Clemson
Yes, I know the Lions drafted a Mike Williams back in the day. The irony that they need a WR the year another WR Mike Williams is available. I had a WR placed here in 2016, so to start this 2017 NFL mock draft we’ll place another to Detroit and see what happens.

17. Falcons: Gunner Kiel QB Cincinnati
Matt Ryan has quietly become a turnover machine in Atlanta. He’s only 31 so he has a lot of football left but it wont be as a starter throwing on average 16 picks a year.

18. Colts: Jamal Adams S LSU
Mike Adams came in and gave this squad a boost, now it is time to find some quality youth.

19. Bills: Jonathan Allen DE Alabama
The loss of Mario Williams will be felt. We will see if Shaq Lawson and Adolphus Washington help fill the void or not.

20. Jets: Samaje Perine RB Oklahoma
When you don’t have a QB, the next best thing to have is a stud RB to turn around and give the rock to 20 times a game. Only problem? The guys the Jets have get injured when they try that. Forte has 2k career carries.

21. Bengals: Peter Kalambayi OLB Stanford
The Bengals took Andrew Billings with one of the best value picks in the 2016 draft. The line has some depth, behind them is the aggressive Vontaze Burfict who is always under the league’s microscope.

22. Texans: Chris Casher DE Florida State
The Texans’ current depth chart at DE is JJ Watt, Devon Still, and a bunch of rookies. Pray for this team if something happens to JJ.

23. Eagles (from Vikings:) Viane Talamaivao OG Southern California
Eagles get back some of the assets they used to acquire Carson Wentz. The first round talent goes to the middle of the line to protect the QB of the future.

24. Redskins: Devonte Fields DE Louisville
They have Ziggy Hood on a 1 year deal and Stephen Paea is a regular on the injury report. Who is going to take those snaps Chris Baker and Trent Murphy can’t?

25. Steelers: Christian McCaffrey RB/WR Stanford
Again, a team with talent at the position but too many off-the-field questions. Say it with me, Stephen A voice, “STAY OFF DA WEEEEEEEEEED!”

26. Seahawks: Tre’Davious White CB LSU
Seattle brought back Brandon Browner in some kind of hybrid CB/S role. Yeah… this isn’t going to end pretty. No one is currently testing Sherman so you know Browner is going to get picked on early and often.

27. Packers: Jake Butt TE Michigan
I like Richard Rodgers. I really do. The guy helped me win a lot of fantasy games but facts are he’s just not a speed threat.

28. Chiefs: Kareem Are OG Florida State
The Chiefs used a 4th on Parker Ehinger, so we’ll see.

29. Patriots: Davon Godchaux DT LSU
The Terrance Knighton tour stops this season in New England, but again it’s a one year deal.

30. Cardinals: Brad Kaaya QB Miami
I probably should mock a QB here, but maybe there is a reason they signed Jake Coker. Matt Barkley is here too… yeah this should be a QB. Brad Kaaya it is.

31. Panthers: Brendan Mahon OT Penn State
Carolina should have drafted at Remmers position with an early pick in 2016, but instead decided to leverage on Star Lotulelei’s upcoming contract negotiations. So with the Star Lotulelei and Josh Norman replacement’s in tow, it is time to do something about Mike Remmers… I think Von Miller just sacked Cam Newton again.

32. Broncos: O.J. Howard TE Alabama
Denver tried to bring in Vernon Davis but it just didn’t work. Jeff Heuerman is coming off an injury and has never played yet so no one knows what he will bring for now.
