It has been learned that LSU’s Zach Mettenberger tore his ACL in LSU’s last contest. He will not be prepared to play in LSU’s bowl game. For all intents and purposes the Senior’s college career is over.
On the bright side Mettenberger is expected to be ready for the draft process and should be able to throw at his pro day. I’ve had him in the 30-45 range of the class and that hasn’t changed. A team in need of a developmental QB of the future or top notch backup should pick him in round two.
