Former #1 pick Jamarcus Russell has been fighting to get his career back on track. After being tossed from the league following a disappointing stint with the Raiders he hasn’t really been seen much. Rumors are that Russell had allegedly had issues with many personal demons including gambling and an addiction to codeine syrup.
Well, he’s back on the comeback trail and trying to get his career together. Will anyone give him a shot? Who knows. Jamarcus is going to have to really work hard if he wants another shot. From the looks of it his weight is still near 300 lbs and he has a way to go to get in shape. If anyone can help him bounce back it just might be his trainer Jeff Garcia.
