Ever since the world saw Marcus Lattimore suffer one of the worst knee injuries in college football history, there has been a lot of speculation where he would play next. If ever. Coach Steve Spurrier even had the audacity to infer that Lattimore would consider sitting out another year only to return and play ANOTHER year for the Gamecocks.
No way that is happening now, because Lattimore has announced he is taking his talents to the NFL Draft:
According to ESPN.com‘s Joe Schad, Lattimore has decided to forego his remaining year of eligibility at South Carolina and make himself available for the April NFL draft. An official announcement is expected at some point this week, Schad reports.
