Just a few days ago the New England Patriots made the decision to waive WR Chad Ochocinco (Johnson). The news is that Chad never really caught on to New England’s complicated way of calling routes. If that’s true, then you have to imagine that it was incredibly frustrating for both Chad and the Patriots.
Now that he has been released, is he taking his talents to South Beach?
Many seem to think so after a recent workout:
Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin told reporters today that the team did, in fact, work Ochocinco out. Philbin didn’t offer many details, however, such as whether the team remains interested after getting an up-close look at Ochocinco.
“We’re doing our homework,” Philbin said, via Ben Volin of the Palm Beach Post.

Considering the Dolphins’ most veteran WR is Legedew Nene, the master of dropping first down passes, they need to kick the tires on Ocho and see what he has left.
