Giants Scouts Reportedly Eyeing Shedeur Sanders as Future QB1
The buzz around Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders continues to grow, and...
The Denver Broncos unveiled a spread option offense on Sunday in which QB Tim Tebow managed to find a way to beat the Oakland Raiders primarily running the ball. Once again the Broncos, led by Tebow, found a way to win in spite of Tebow’s horrible passing (10-21, 2 touchdowns).
Team President John Elway was asked about Tebow’s long term status and said basically he is week to week with Tim. Nothing more, nothing less. Elway wants to see Tebow play the position of Quarterback better. That is not too much to ask for. A quarterback should win passing the ball and not using gimmicks.
Skip Bayless blew a gasket, and as usual pulled stats in his favor to take up for his golden child. The fact of the matter is John Elway is exactly right. No matter how Tebow wins, he simply is not a long term answer at quarterback. No ESPN commentator, or Skip Bayless is going to change John’s mind. Only Tebow can.
