ESPN analyst and former NFL tight end Christian Fauria announed his latest 2012 Heisman race standings today. Alabama RB Trent Richardson led the pack with Andrew Luck as a close 2nd place runner. It’s kind of surprising to see Luck not #1.
Then again, after the game Trent had against Ole Miss it is hard to ignore what he has been doing all season. The highlight tape for Trent Richarson is pretty impressive. Some players have not been so impressive as of late. Speaking of which, Landry Jones is off the list this week and replaced by Clemson superstar Tajh Boyd. Other guys that didn’t make the list but could be considered as honorable mentions are Robert Griffin III QB Balyor, Tyrann Mathieu CB LSU and Marcus Lattimore RB South Carolina.
