Remember a few year ago when Myron Rolle decided to take up a Rhodes Scholarship and enter the draft a year later? A lot of people questioned him for it. Some even asked if he was “too smart for the NFL” because he was studying medical anthropology.
It was a great story. A kid from the bahamas makes it to a level few achieve athletically and scholastically, and also had a shot to play in the NFL. But at the end of the day the Titans felt the roster spot should go to someone else and parted ways with Rolle.
Good luck to Rolle in whatever he does. You know he’s going to be a success off the field. It is yet to be seen if he becomes one in the NFL.
